Energy Summit 2020 - Working Groups
The 2020 Appalachian Energy Summit Webinar Series will run from mid-September through mid-October. Some of the Working Groups will be convening virtually during this period to hear from speakers and discuss ongoing efforts in energy, sustainability, police and practice.

Zero Waste/Waste Reduction: Waste Reduction, Recycling, and Zero Waste Professionals

Charged with elevating the importance of sustainable purchasing decisions and waste reduction efforts.
The Appalachian Energy Summit Zero Waste Working Group meeting will be held virtually this year as part of our AES Webinar Series. It is scheduled for October 12, 2020 from 11am-1pm EST.
Please join us to hear from several of our peer institutions about ways they have been able to keep waste reduction, recycling, compost, and engagement opportunities going despite the many challenges presented with the pandemic.
We will also have some time to break into small groups for more topic based discussion as well.
